"Zedan currently has 85 listed resellers of IT products that would be natural outlets for NOD32. Zedan is potentially in a position to sell NOD32 to each of its 8,000 existing end-users of other Zedan IT products as well as to new users. Some of these customers have very large networks. This is a fairly easy product to sell and support and almost any supplier of technical services or products could carry it with suitable technical back-up from Zedan," stated Mr. Neophytou.
Prior to the partnership, the Saudi Arabian market for ESET was addressed by one single distributor and any enquiries from end users were directed directly to the organisation. With ESET and NOD32 gaining increasing recognition in the country and with demand increasing exponentially, ESET felt the need for a second distributor who could help address the wide market better.
